The Case

A detective stumbles across a time machine while investigating an impossible murder case. With his ambitions to get promoted and reconnect with his estranged mother challenged by a rival newcomer detective, this time machine gives him the upper hand needed to get ahead in solving the case. However, as his competition ramps up, and his plans begin to collapse around him, he must face the question of how far he is willing to go to succeed, and what he must give up to do so. The Case is a film about a detective’s self-destructive struggle to get by in a world of harsh competition, time travel, and a severed family relationship.
